Role Summary The UAV Avionics Assembler I supports the assembly of avionics hardware and sub-assemblies under close supervision. This role focuses on learning aerospace manufacturing standards, tools, and documentation while executing basic assembly tasks. This role involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams. Key Responsibilities Assemble basic avionics components and sub-assemblies following work instructions and engineering drawings. Perform wire preparation tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, and labeling. Assist with routing, dressing, and securing wiring in accordance with defined standards. Conduct visual inspections to identify obvious defects or workmanship issues. Use basic hand tools and test equipment such as multimeters under supervision. Accurately complete assembly work instructions and production documentation. Follow ESD, FOD, safety, and quality procedures at all times. Support senior assemblers and technicians as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 0–1 years of experience in electronics, avionics, or precision assembly. Ability to read basic assembly drawings and follow written instructions.
