AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking a U. S. Export Control Specialist to support trade compliance activities within our Supply Chain and Procurement function. This role will focus on export/import licensing, regulatory compliance, and coordination across internal teams to ensure compliance with U. S. and international trade regulations in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for trade compliance and export licensing activities Prepare and submit export and import license applications through applicable U. S. government systems (e.g., Department of State and Department of Commerce platforms) Ensure compliance with U. S. export control regulations, including frameworks such as ITAR and EAR Classify components, products, and technical data in accordance with applicable export control classifications (e.g., ECCNs) Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to identify and support both short-term and long-term export/import licensing requirements Assist in the development and execution of export/import licensing strategies Support internal compliance controls to ensure alignment with U.
