Must Have
Bachelor’s degree, 7 years health and welfare benefits and retirement experience, Project management experience, Vendor management experience, Financial acumen, Analytical capability, Thorough knowledge of benefits regulations, Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, Excel skills, Data analysis skills
Nice to Have
Experience with self-insured benefit plans, Experience supporting union environments
What You'll Do.
Manage benefits strategy and design recommendations
Ensure programs operate in compliance
Evaluate market trends
Define program enhancements and long-term roadmap
coordinate and communicate webinars
Oversee compliance and regulatory adherence
Interpret legislative and regulatory changes
Determine program changes
Develop and manage annual benefits budget
Recommend cost containment strategies
Lead rate negotiations
Lead financial reviews
and ongoing governance
Establish & monitor performance expectations
Escalate and resolve complex vendor issues
Monitor program utilization
Translate data into actionable insights
Identify and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives
Respond to complex benefit design questions
Interpret plan provisions
Serve as point of contact for union negotiation
