What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, other associated imaging technologies, or other approved training in Angiography, Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound required, ARRT registry, registry eligible, AHA BLS-HCP required
Nice to Have
IR and CT experience strongly preferred, If not registered in CT, must become CT registered within one year of hire date, May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit, Mammography must obtain registry within 24 months, 2 years to complete advanced MRI certification, Breast Ultrasound must obtain registry within 24 months
What You'll Do.
Performs technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment
Produces images for interpretation
Operates technical equipment
Performs IV contrast injections
Schedules and registers patients
Maintains patient files
Complies with policies and procedures
Trains students and staff
Interprets patient requirements
Works with physicians and healthcare providers
