We are seeking a skilled Propulsion / Turbomachinery Engineer II with experience in the aerodynamic and mechanical design of radial and axial turbomachinery systems. In this position, you will design, analyze and test critical components for propulsion systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in R&D of liquid rocket engines turbomachinery for various applications, combined with practical experience in experimental development and testing of high-performance rotating machinery. ## JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop a variety of turbopump parts, including cryogenics pumps, turbines and seals. Create models and drawings of parts and assemblies. Perform calculations and analyses with team support. Own requirements definition, architecture trades, and system-level integration for assigned subsystems. Create schematics and document processes. Perform CFD and FEA analyses to evaluate performance parameters such as efficiency, head curves and mechanical integrity under operating conditions. Work with manufacturing team to create finished turbomachinery parts. Support
