Our Kenya program, founded in 2006, operates under the local brand Tupande. Close to 500 staff in our Kakamega headquarters support 1,747 field staff and serve more than 1 million farmers. In Nairobi, around 50 staff support global functions like procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications About the Role The Extension and Aggregation Supervisor - Roaming serves as the primary operational link between Tupande and the farming communities. This is a frontline, customer facing role responsible for delivering high quality extension services, ensuring farmer compliance with market and certification standards and driving efficient aggregation operations. Responsibilities Market Readiness & Compliance Develop a deep understanding of evolving market, buyer, and certification requirements for both avocado and macadamia (and any future crops as assigned). Guide farmers in meeting food safety, hygiene, and health standards applicable to each crop. Maintain updated and accurate production, training, and compliance records across all assigned territories. Farmer Training & Extension Services Train farmers and farmer groups on crop production best practices, pest and disease intervention methods, and quality standards.
