Ensure every part is meticulously prepared, fitted, and aligned; Contributing to the seamless integration of hydraulic, fuel, and oxygen systems; Achieve exceptional results; Uphold commitment to safety and quality standards; Ensure all operations meet regulatory compliance and operational excellence
Industry & Context.
Physical tasks include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs, Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting, Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants, Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards, Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions, Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet, 100% onsite work required, Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, Successfully complete the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process, Subject to drug testing, Hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement, Variety of shifts
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed a Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) certified course (either academic or military), Able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift, Able to walk constantly throughout the stand 6-8 hours per climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per climb bend and twist frequently up to six hours per squat and kneel, Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C. F. R. § 120.62
What You'll Do.
Verify kitted parts and assemblies against Work Orders (W/O) and Bills of Material (BOM)
Obtain necessary engineering drawings
Initiate planning or engineering change requests
Set up assembly tools
Hand fit parts using jigs and tools
Prepare detail parts by trimming
Deliver completed details to the appropriate work area
Select and utilize appropriate drills
and countersinking tools
Drill and ream holes in parts and assemblies
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely
Obtain the correct type and size of fasteners
Measure and cut tubing
Conduct in-process checks
