What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of experience working with powered hand tools, 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools, Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), 1+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift, Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. § 120. 62 is required.
What You'll Do.
Verify kitted parts and assemblies against Work Orders (W/O) and Bills of Material (BOM)
Obtain necessary engineering drawings
Initiate planning or engineering change requests
Set up assembly tools
Hand fit parts using jigs and tools
Prepare detail parts by trimming
Deliver completed details to the appropriate work area
Select and utilize appropriate drills
and countersinking tools
Drill and ream holes in parts and assemblies
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely
Obtain the correct type and size of fasteners
Measure and cut tubing to close tolerances
Conduct in-process checks
