As our next Trust & Safety Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping us build the UK’s go-to home improvement marketplace. From vetting and verifying every tradesperson who joins our platform to maintaining the trust and quality standards our customers rely on, your work will help ensure homeowners can connect with skilled, reliable professionals with confidence. By safeguarding the integrity of our marketplace , your work will help millions of homeowners find the right tradesperson for the job - fast, fair, and without the faff. Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on: - Vetting and verifying tradespeople to ensure only high-quality, trustworthy professionals join the platform. - Delivering a fair, efficient, and customer-focused review process that drives confidence for homeowners and trades alike. - Spotting ways to improve our Trust & Safety processes and putting ideas into action. - Collaborating with Customer Support, Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to solve problems and improve outcomes. - Investigating risks, identifying patterns, and helping protect the integrity of the marketplace. - Making sure every interaction leaves customers and tradespeople feeling confident in Checkatrade. It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring: - Experience in Trust & Safety, customer operations, fraud prevention, quality assurance, compliance, or a similar field or a genuine eagerness to learn. - A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. - Strong communication skills, good judgement, and a natural curiosity to investigate and solve problems. - Confidence working with systems, internal tools, and digital platforms, or the ability to pick them up quickly. - Great attention to detail and the ability to make fair, consistent decisions. - A passion for helping create a trusted marketplace where customers and tradespeople can thrive
