What You'll Do.
Inspect diesel semi-trucks and trailers
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
Perform corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers
Repair diesel semi-trucks and trailers
Maintain adherence to company safety standards
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Assess preventive maintenance schedule
Discuss work orders and priorities with supervisor
Identify issues affecting equipment operation
Utilize maintenance systems for documentation
Document maintenance and repair work
Collaborate with other departments
Perform DOT inspections on tractors
Repair and replace air brake components
Diagnose and repair cooling systems
Service suspension components
Replace wheel seals and hubs
Perform minor electrical diagnostics
Maintain service records
Maintain repair documentation
Repair suspension and axle components
Perform trailer DOT inspections
Repair trailer electrical systems
Service hydraulic liftgates
Diagnose refrigeration performance issues
Replace sensors and electrical components
Repair starter and charging systems
Perform refrigerant leak detection
Service refrigeration systems
Calibrate temperature controls
