Must provide and maintain essential mechanic tools and toolbox for daily tasks, Required to complete SpartanNash certification for safe driving skills for material handling equipment, tractors, and trailers (training provided), Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls, Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms, Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed, subject to a warehouse environment, frequently exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment, noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned, Travel requirements vary by assignment, We are not able to sponsor work visas for this position

Must Have
High school or equivalent (GED), 6+ years of working experience in a related field, Valid Driver’s License, Must provide and maintain essential mechanic tools and toolbox for daily tasks

EPA certification
What You'll Do.
diagnose and perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repair of diesel semi-trucks and trailers
maintain adherence to company safety standards
ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
assist in developing the skills of less experienced team members
assess the preventive maintenance schedule
discuss work orders and priorities with supervisor/lead
proactively identify any issues or conditions which might affect the operation of the equipment
utilize maintenance systems for documentation
maintain current knowledge of regulations and laws
prepare and/or complete DOT inspections and related paperwork
collaborate with other departments
maintain service records and repair documentation

collaborates with other departments as appropriate; offering coaching and technical support to less experienced team members
