Tribologist

**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Set up and run tribology test equipment and undertake data collection, analysis and reporting. * Participate and give technical guidance for product development. * Provide tribology support to relevant functions within the wider organization. * Carry out component failure analysis and complete appropriate testing on prepared samples. * Occasional formal and informal presentations to management and/or customers. # Qualifications: * BS or higher in Tribology, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field. * 1-5 years work experience in an R&D environment. * Experience with tribology test rigs preferred. * Practical experience with bearings, gears, chains or other industry components preferred. * CAD construction skills desired. * Machining and 3D printing experience preferred. ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
