Must Have

At least 18 years of age, Able to look at the schedule of the finish cook ovens during the shift, Able to look at the schedule of the products that need to be moved and organized for the packaging department, Communicates/coordinates with other employees and the lead to ensure that every product is going to the right blast/cooler, Double check all the scales and make sure they are working properly, and they are on the correct date and shift, Makes appropriate weight, temperature, time and other checks to ensure product quality is at standards set by management, Able to push meat out of ovens right after they get done cooking, Able to push trees out of blast cooler, Ability to operate the power chain and communicate with the team members to ensure that all the switches are set correctly for the products that go to blast 1 or 2, Able to read schedule and calculate the correct tree count per product scheduled, Check temperature of all products to make sure it is within the appropriate temperature guidelines allowed by food safety, Able to communicate all information regarding product changes to the Lead in an enough time, Ability to issue, manually issue and reverse product trees to production, Will assist with investigations and complete reports as needed, Must be able to push meat out of ovens right after they get done cooking, Must be able to push trees out of blast cooler, Ability to exert maximum muscle force to push trees up to 2000 pounds on a regular basis, Understand and follow oral and written instructions, Perform a task requiring continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms, Stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift, Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts, Work with a knife (if trained), Work in cold areas (approximately 20-40 degrees), Work in warm areas (over 100 degrees), Work in an environment that is wet and humid, Work while wearing a hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes, Work in a noisy environment using personal protective equipment (PPE), Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals, Work around smells/odors, Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms, Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift, Walk long distances, Physically demanding work, Repetitive overhead lifting up to 30 lbs, Single lifting of heavy objects which can weigh up to 60 lbs, Lifting of objects using mechanical assistance
