Industry & Context.
Troubleshooting; Resolve issues; Complex fault finding and repair
Travelling across UK, Physically fit, Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine), Capable of working in exposed and remote locations, On-call allowance, Overtime x 1.5, Overnight allowance, Shared works vehicle for travel to and from site, Generally be located within 45 minutes of the site, Open to travelling to other sites to support where necessary
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Physically fit, safety-focused, Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine), Capable of working in exposed and remote locations, Great electrical maintenance experience, Worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical, Full UK drivers licence
Nice to Have
Previous experience on wind farms
What You'll Do.
Take the technical lead on onboarding newly acquired turbines
Elevate expertise on GE and Senvion platforms
Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants
Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules
Undertake Major Component (Gearbox
Transformer etc) Replacements
Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical
Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine
Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards
Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills
Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment
