Full Job Description
_________________________________________________________________ The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for leading and executing field operations on complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects across the United States. This role serves as the senior on-site authority, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and to Enterprise Electrical’s quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proven field leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional crew management skills, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to mobilize quickly to support national projects. **Requirements** **Field Leadership & Execution** * Lead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects * Supervise and coordinate field labor including apprentices, journeymen, foremen, and subcontractors * Enforce production plans, manpower loading, and workflow sequencing * Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Project Management, General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades **Safety & Compliance** * Champion Enterprise Electrical’s “Safety First, Safety Always” culture * Conduct daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site audits * Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and local authority codes * Proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks **Quality & Schedule Control** * Interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics * Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, equipment staging, and subcontractor activities * Monitor progress against schedule and proactively address field challenges * Maintain daily reports, field logs, and production tracking using approved software platforms **Travel & National Support** * Travel extensively to active job sites nationwide, including overnight and extended assignments * Sup
