What You'll Do.
Prepare patients for examination
Document chief complaints
Assist provider during examinations
Assist provider during procedures
Ensure accurate documentation in EMR
Ensure timely documentation in EMR
Maintain clean treatment areas
Organize treatment areas
Assist with specimen handling
Label specimens per protocol
Support patient education
Complete patient intake
Verify patient demographics
Verify patient insurance
Verify medical history
Document patient information
Document updates in EMR
Assist with additional charting
Enter follow-up instructions
Ensure charts are complete
Ensure charts are accurate
Maintain compliance with documentation standards
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols
Coordinate with facility staff
Assist in managing patient flow
Communicate scheduling issues
Load clinical supplies
Transport clinical supplies
Set up clinical equipment
Ensure necessary materials are available
