We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is willing to travel to multiple senior living communities, to join our dynamic, fast-growing organization. Duties: Clinical Support * Prepare patients for examination, including rooming, and documenting chief complaints, intake. * Assist the provider during examinations and procedures as needed. * Ensure accurate and timely documentation support within the EMR (e.g., eDerm). * Maintain clean and organized treatment areas at each facility. * Assist with specimen handling and proper labeling per protocol. * Support patient education as directed by the provider. Patient Intake & Documentation * Complete patient intake, including verification of demographics, insurance (if applicable), medical history, medications, and allergies. * Accurately document patient information, visit notes, and updates in the EMR in real-time or as directed. * Assist the provider with additional charting, including entering visit details, procedures, and follow-up instructions. * Ensure charts are complete, accurate, and ready for provider review and sign-off. * Maintain compliance with documentation standards and clinical protocols. Patient Flow & Coordination * Gather and escort patients from facility staff or waiting areas when needed. * Coordinate with facility staff to ensure patients are ready and available for scheduled visits. * Assist in managing patient flow to maintain provider efficiency. * Communicate any delays, no-shows, or scheduling issues to the appropriate team.
