What You'll Do.
Prepare patients for examination
Document chief complaints
Assist provider during examinations
Assist provider during procedures
Ensure accurate documentation
Ensure timely documentation
Maintain clean treatment areas
Maintain organized treatment areas
Assist with specimen handling
Assist with proper labeling
Support patient education
Complete patient intake
Verify patient demographics
Verify patient insurance
Verify patient medical history
Verify patient medications
Verify patient allergies
Document patient information
Document updates in EMR
Assist with additional charting
Enter follow-up instructions
Ensure charts are complete
Ensure charts are accurate
Maintain compliance with standards
Maintain compliance with protocols
Coordinate with facility staff
Assist in managing patient flow
Communicate scheduling issues
Assist with loading supplies
Assist with transporting supplies
