Local to the program site (Jacksonville, FL area) or willing to travel for the duration of the course, Travel and lodging support is available for instructors who are not local to the program site
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience teaching surgical technology, 3+ years of experience working as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical setting, Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist or NCCT TS-C certification
Nice to Have
Experience with digital tools for teaching and reading lesson plans, Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
What You'll Do.
Teach hands-on skills to students in an in-person lab setting
Demonstrate proper technique for a given skill and provide live step by step tasks for students to perform
Assess students’ lab and clinical competency for skills and provide feedback
Review and evaluate the required skills students must demonstrate
Communicate regularly with students over email and other communication tools
Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
Provide ongoing support
and prepare and plan for future modules
