What You'll Do.
Provides day to day supervision of CDL Drivers for employees
Plan schedules and routes to ensure maximum efficiencies
Ensures the vehicle fleet is properly maintained
Ensures compliance with Federal
State and Local laws for Hazardous. Material and Hazardous Waste shipments
Monitors and assists with keeping operational costs at or below budget
Ensures clear communication with internal operations
and others in the normal course of transportation
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Supervises employees per organization chart
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing
and training planning
and directing appraising rewarding and disciplining addressing complaints and resolving problems

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Transportation Supervisor provides direct supervision and coordination of the daily activities related to transportation programs and roles, such as drivers and/or transportation administrative support roles. Creates schedules and assigns routes to maximize efficiencies and enhance company profitability. Ensures compliance with transportation regulations and company policies and procedures. Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists team members in solving work problems. Selects, develops, and evaluates team members to ensure the efficient operations. **PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provides day to day supervision of CDL Drivers for employees. * Plan schedules and routes to ensure maximum efficiencies. * Ensures the vehicle fleet is properly maintained. * Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local laws for Hazardous.
