Must Have

Master's degree in urban and regional planning, transportation planning, engineering, business administration, or economics, three years of experience in public transportation planning or administration or community planning or transit, Bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning, transportation planning, engineering, business administration, or economics, five years of experience in the collection and analysis of economic and social data, two of which must have been in public transportation planning or transit

Nice to Have

Considerable knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of public and business administration as applied to government programs, Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures, Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency personnel and officials, Experience in MS Office productivity software including Word, Excel, and Power Point, Experience in the development, population and management of database applications

What You'll Do.

Serve as Primary Finance Manager

Provide accounting management and oversight

Oversee financial activities

Ensure grant requirements are met

Recommend and allocate resources

Secure and oversee consultant contracts

Interview and recommend consultants

Create custom reports

Perform complex financial analyses

Recommend policies and implement actions

Analyze budget and accounting

Develop cash spend plan

Identify and implement performance measures

Identify and implement business process changes

Coordinate programming of funds

Develop budgets for all sections

and implement policies

Strategic budgeting of funds

Manage and supervise grants

Plan for future funding

Perform research and analysis

Address advanced accounting problems

Make recommendations to leadership
