Within Amazon Japan's Supply Chain division, the Transportation Planning team is looking for a member to lead short-term transportation planning and drive process transformation — anticipating both industry shifts and continued business growth. What makes this role compelling: You will operate end-to-end, from planning through execution, leveraging technology while working fluidly across boundaries — unconstrained by rigid role definitions — to contribute directly to business growth and the evolution of the logistics industry. Key job responsibilities 社内関係部門や取引先企業と連携しながら、効率的かつ高精度な輸送計画と実行、ならびに業務プロセス改善を担っていただきます。 ■輸送計画の策定と実行 - 需要予測と傾向分析に基づき、社内アプリケーションなどを用いてミドルマイルの短期計画を策定いただきます。また、高品質な計画策定のために、社内関係部門および取引先企業とのコミュニケーション、スケジュール管理、アクションの推進をリードいただきます。 ■業務プロセス改善 - 輸送ネットワークや社内アプリケーションの変更に伴って発生する業務課題の解決および、より高品質なサービスを提供するためのプロセス改善を計画・実行いただきます。 ------------------------ You will partner with internal stakeholders and external carrier partners to deliver efficient, high-accuracy transportation planning and execution, as well as drive operational process improvements. Short-Term Transportation Planning & Execution Develop middle-mile short-term plans using internal applications, grounded in demand forecasting and trend analysis. Lead cross-functional communication with internal teams and carrier partners, manage timelines, and drive actions to ensure plan quality. Process Improvement Identify and resolve operational challenges arising from transportation network changes and internal system updates.
