What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Minimum 6 years of applicable transportation design experience, Professional Engineer in Oregon, MicroStation and Inroads and/or AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency, Effective communicator with excellent writing skills, Committed to technical excellence and meeting client needs, Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities, Experience with transportation agencies in the Portland area, including PBOT, ODOT, and TriMet

Apply engineering principles to diverse projects

Develop project specific solutions drawing on best practices for transportation infrastructure projects

Design for city streets

bike and pedestrian facilities

Lead roadway design on assigned projects

and technical analyses

Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Assist in managing project tasks

Ensure efficient coordination of timelines

Provide design expertise

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborating with teams to develop project specific solutions; Working closely with Project Managers, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams; Collaborating closely with public agencies, transit authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers; Contributing to the development of staff

Communication Scope

Effective communicator with excellent writing skills; Coordinate and communicate directly with stakeholders, public agencies, and franchise and public utility companies; Actively listening to client needs; Providing clear communication

Process & Methodology

Assist in managing project tasks, Ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes
