Must Have
High School Diploma, Experience and/or Training Background in operations, knowledge of the transportation industry, Mercury Gate or TMS as a user, HAZMAT
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree, Background in Transportation and Distribution, Degree in Supply Chain or Finance APICS CSCP, Microsoft Office Suite of Services, Power BI User Level
What You'll Do.
Ensure close out & dispatch of all shipments
Ensure all international shipments have documents
Identify International Shipments as priority
Create Hazmat documents
Daily review of carrier equipment needs
Communicate with carriers for swaps
Review all internal / external documentation requests
Ensure all outbound cold chain orders have packing list
Ensure proper trailer temperature set points
Reconcile open orders report
Manage any Mode conversions
Communicate with Transportation & Ops teams
Ensure operations are correctly loading
Manage communications where advanced shipment notice details are required
Work Group Leadership
Continuous Process Improvement
Oversee loading of outbound trailers
Ensure loading area is safe
Ensure all shipping requests are acknowledged
Ensure proper load securement
Effectively communicate with all internal departments
