Previous transport operational experience, Good geographical knowledge of the UK, Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook, Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment, Customer focus on delivery performance, Commercially and Financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results, Experience of using a TMS system, Experience in an FMCG environment, analytical and excel capability across standard formulas

What You'll Do.

Ensure effective communication is maintained within the business ensuring teamwork is always and collaborative
Ensuring driver team arrive for work on time and arrange cover for absences when required
Correct utilisation of staff and vehicles using the company diary sheet/planner
route all vehicles available generating revenue and solid route plans to ensure that routes are both achievable and vehicles are used to best efficiency
and updating any amendments throughout the day so the information is live for all to access
ensure key duties are completed without fail
Analysing delivery data to ensure the relevant KPI’s and revenue targets are achieved on each vehicle
Arrange and oversee loading/pre-loading activity to ensure a timely despatch
work with the TPN team to ensure the depot is both efficient and profitable and reviewing synergies to enhance this
Deal with drivers queries appropriately

Deal with customer queries and complaints effectively
ensuring that goodwill is maintained
Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers

Contributing to the success of the Transport team, you will be responsible for the day to day planning of the transport operation, through the efficient planning of the transport operation.
