What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, Successfully pass the Company’s EEI Technical Aptitude test, Two years as a CAD Technician or three years outside the Company in CAD related work, Satisfactory completion of an Associate’s Degree in in design drafting, computer aided drafting or other drafting technology at an accredited university, college or junior college, Satisfactory completion of at least 9 credit hours in the field of electrical design, electrical engineering or other study of electrical technology at an accredited university, college or junior college, Successfully complete the department Electrical Designer training program and score at least an 80% on the department Electrical Designer evaluation, Employees transferring from another department or new hires for this job classification shall complete the Electrical Designer Training Evaluation within the first six (6) months of becoming an Electrical Designer I, Employees who do not score 80% or greater on the Electrical Designer Training Evaluation shall be disqualified, Failure to pass the test will be require the employee to enroll in the Company AC/DC course and pass the Company AC/DC test with a score of 80% or greater within one year of employment, Failure to complete the Company AC/DC course will result in disqualification
Nice to Have
Employees who have taken Electrical AC/DC from an accredited college, University, or Junior College within the last two years may satisfy the Company AC/DC test with a score of 80% or greater

Prepare schedules, bills of materials, etc. Occasionally, check drawings of other Electrical Designer I or CAD Technicians. Assist in department training program as a mentor, trainer or other assigned by supervision. Occasionally, obtain detailed information in the field, usually accompanied by a Supervisor, Electrical Designer II or others.
