What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, Successfully pass the Company’s EEI Technical Aptitude test, Two years as a CAD Technician or three years outside the Company in CAD related work, Satisfactory completion of an Associate’s Degree in in design drafting, computer aided drafting or other drafting technology, Satisfactory completion of at least 9 credit hours in the field of electrical design, electrical engineering or other study of electrical technology, Successfully complete the department Electrical Designer training program and score at least an 80% on the department Electrical Designer evaluation
What You'll Do.
Do all levels of drafting work
Prepare finished drawings from preliminary designs
Modify wiring drawings
Assist with other electrical drawings
Make simple calculations
Determine conduit sizes
Make wiring diagrams from schematics
Prepare bills of materials
Check drawings of other Electrical Designer
Check drawings of CAD Technicians
Assist in department training program
Obtain detailed information in the field
Maintain and update information in the electronic drawing management system

Work with supervisors; Work with engineers; Work with construction personnel; Work with other Company departments; Work with outside companies
