Assist the Oversight & Governance Head to contribute to the design and implementation of a comprehensive governance framework across the Transaction Processing risk (TPR) function

ensuring alignment with the banks’ broader ORM strategy

Provide input into defining TPR procedures and protocols for governance forum reporting and input into

issue and event escalation and decision making/veto processes

Support the development of TPR reporting frameworks that provide actionable information to senior stakeholders

Act as a point of contact for TPR oversight and governance

which will require producing high quality materials that represent the TPR function

in bank wide risk forums

Enhance risk monitoring dashboards and analytics of TPR metrics and other contextual data

Manage coordination and tracking of TPR initiatives across the bank to ensure the Head of TPR function is aware and informed of key activities

Support critical Key Deliverables of the Bank from 2nd Line perspective

Demonstrable experience of developing relationships with business areas to facilitate successful risk management across the 3 Lines of Defence model; Collaborate with risk managers across 1LoD and 2Lod to synthesize TPR data into meaningful insights on the health of the transaction processing control environment; Working collaboratively

## _**Job Description:**_ **Job Title: Transaction Processing - Risk Type Head (RTH)** **Corporate Title: AVP** **Location: Mumbai, India** **Division Overview:** Operational Risk Management (ORM) function in the Chief Risk Office, is responsible for managing the Bank’s operational risk exposure in line with the established group wide risk appetite and governance framework. To achieve this the ORM function requires: * Risk Managers with the experience, seniority, and tools to assess complex risks and intervene where they lie outside the bank’s risk appetite. * A comprehensive, integrated, simple, and easy to use NFR Framework with supporting technology that assists risk identification, assessment, and remediation. * Strong understanding of the businesses combined with regular engagement which would allow NFRM to provide support, review, and challenge in line with the 3 Lines of Defence (LoD) Model. * Proper consideration of emerging risks, and current issues. * Effective governance combined with supporting MI that facilitates decision-making * ORM is a matrix organization, with business, region, and functional specialist axes. **Role Description** * The Transaction Processing Risk Type Head (TPR RTH) function is responsible for evaluating all Deutsche Bank businesses and infrastructure units to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks associated with the Bank’s transaction processing activities. * The function establishes and drives a consistent operating model, including clearly defined roles and responsibilities, to ensure robust implementation of the Transaction Processing Risk Framework.
