What You'll Do.
Train new employees on standard operating procedures
Train new employees on fit-up requirements
Train new employees on welding requirements
Train new employees on fabrication processes
Provide refresher training for current employees
Provide skills-development training for current employees
Evaluate employee skill levels
Evaluate applicant skill levels
Develop training plans to improve employee performance
Develop training plans to improve employee capabilities
Apply adult learning techniques to support employee development
Apply adult learning techniques to support employee retention
Interpret blueprints to support training efforts
Interpret weld symbols to support training efforts
Interpret shop drawings to support training efforts
Demonstrate proper welding techniques
Demonstrate proper fitting techniques
Assist with administering weld tests
Assist with administering practical evaluations
Coordinate visual inspections with Quality Control
Coordinate NDT inspections with Quality Control
Support a safe work environment
Support a quality-focused work environment
Maintain detailed training records
Maintain accurate training records
Maintain qualification documentation
Communicate effectively with employees
Communicate effectively with supervisors
Communicate effectively with Quality Control personnel
Communicate effectively with leadership teams
