Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership., 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration & test engineering, hardware engineering, or a related function, 2+ years Earned Value Management (EVM) experience, Current DOD Top Secret clearance (active within the past 24 months)

Nice to Have

3+ years leading engineering teams in a lead or manager role, Exposure to multiple phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, such as design, development, lab test, flight test, production, sustainment, etc., Advanced degrees (MS or MBA), Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management), Engineering management experience.

Training Systems SEIT and Hardware Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company **The Boeing Company** in **Richardson, TX** is looking for a **first line manager** to join the **Systems Engineering** team supporting the **Special Projects Training Systems** team. The selected candidate will join a team of multi-functional engineers and analysts supporting training systems working all phases of the program lifecycle. **Position Responsibilities** : * Lead a team of 15-20 multi-skilled engineers working systems engineering and hardware efforts related to training systems programs * Report to the senior Systems Engineering manager to ensure seamless cross-program functional support is provided for all aspects of the Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) function * Interface with program managers and other engineering functions to ensure program objectives are met, to include taking responsibility for various control accounts and Earned Value Management (EVM) duties * Remove road blocks for the team, provide higher level and external support, coordinate with customers and suppliers in pursuit of program contractual requirements and objectives, etc. * Support team members by prioritizing career development, employee engagement, and performance management * The technical scope of the teams include: * Integration and test activities in support of training systems products, to include local laboratory development, defect correction, and remote system deliveries and installations * Hardware design for cabin equipment, training systems and sustainment efforts across all phases of the product lifecycle * Systems engineering for design, requirements, and analysis of training systems programs. **This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).** (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). **Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:** To be considered for this position you will be re
