Training Device Technician (Training Device Maintenance) **Company:** Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the F-22 GTE Services Team are seeking a **Mid-Level Training Device Technician (Maintenance)** to support our team in **Sheppard AFB, TX**. **Position Responsibilities:** * Provide F-22 training device maintenance services at Sheppard AFB, TX. * Assists in repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of F-22 Maintenance Training Device (MTD) components, devices, hardware and software. * Performs detailed inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling. Inspects components and LRU's to verify status prior to installation. * Consults with engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment. * Troubleshoot to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. * Performs functional test of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and indicators. * Performs a multi-disciplined range of technical systems applications and activities. * Installs, configures and maintains multi-platform systems hardware, software and components. * Ensures systems conforms to architectural objectives. * Evaluates complex system’s production readiness and supportability. * Documents work per engineering planning documents and/or technical manuals. * Excellent customer interface skills and communication skills, both oral and written, are required. * Must be able to work independently, one-on-one, and in a team setting. * Logistics, administrative and other collateral duties necessary to maintain F-22 maintenance training devices are also required. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * 3 or more years of experience do you have in an electrical, mechanical, paint, machine maintenance, or aircraft maintenance position * 3 or more years of experience do you have with maintenance of avionics and/or electronic equipment * 3 or more years of experience
