We’re the strategic partners for our TSO customers, supporting the development and production of transmission grids, and helping to facilitate the bulk movement of electrical energy from the site of generation to electrical substations. Making innovation a cornerstone of our work, and R&D a constant investment, we offer both HVAC and HVDC cable systems for power transmission for both land and submarine connections. Within our UK Power Grids business our team of experienced and highly skilled High Voltage Cable Technicians are deployed to undertake Jointing and associated works on the High Voltage cables systems that form a significant component of the UK’s energy grid. During the 12-month training programme, which is based out of our site in Eastleigh (Hampshire), candidates will be taught skills that will enable them to work on XLPE cable installation projects and also service and repair fluid filled cables.
