What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BSCE with 3-6 years of experience in traffic engineering, Engineer in Training (EIT) required, Understanding of traffic analysis concepts, Experience with traffic model development, Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic/Warrants, SIDRA, HCS, Working knowledge of roadway design principles, Familiarity with MUTCD, ITE, FHWA, and AASHTO manuals and procedures, Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U. S. on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship, This position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship, either H1-B or OPT Based future sponsorship
Nice to Have
PE / PTOE is a plus, Experience working with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plus
What You'll Do.
Conduct traffic operational analysis using various modeling tools
Provide analysis to support development of design solutions and operational improvements
Conduct crash data analysis and perform safety studies for intersections and corridors
Prepare summary tables
and exhibits to communicate technical findings
Write technical reports and prepare technical memoranda
and prepare deliverables related to traffic data collection tasks
Perform on-site field investigations when required
