Are you a qualified plumber looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic, mission-critical environment? Join the Amentum team in Alice Springs and play a key role in maintaining essential infrastructure across a unique and technically challenging program. ### ### **About the Role** As a Tradesman Plumber, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment related to water, gas, sewage, air, and industrial waste. You’ll work both independently and as part of a skilled maintenance team, ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently in line with relevant codes and standards. ### ### **Key Responsibilities** * Construct, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems (including fire and lawn sprinklers) * Diagnose and resolve routine and complex plumbing faults * Assist in maintaining underground sewer and water systems * Perform welding, cutting, and soldering as needed for repairs * Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures * Maintain records and certifications in line with site and legislative requirements _**Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance** (**only cleared candidates will be considered.**) **or Australian Citizen who can obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.**_ ### ### **About You** You’re a hands-on professional with great problem-solving skills, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
