Open to candidates nationwide — relocation assistance available for top talent. **About the role** Service Stream’s Utilities division is seeking a Trade Assistant (Mechanical and/or Electrical) to join our Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Trade Assistant supports electrical and mechanical trades in performing reactive, corrective, and programmed maintenance on Urban Utilities Water and Wastewater assets. The role involves hands-on support, equipment operation, warehouse duties, and participation in after-hours maintenance as required. Key responsibilities include assisting trades with maintenance and installations, liaising with clients on operational activities, completing required data and documentation, and supporting deliveries and procurement tasks. The Trade Assistant will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the continuous operation of critical infrastructure, promote health and safety improvements, and engage with external stakeholders.
