The perspective candidate for this role must know how to read and understand shipping documents, calculate duties, and have excellent analytic and problem solving skills. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** · Work with site operations, business units, and other functional areas to address and ensure all import activities are effectively processed. · Ensure all inbound shipments are in compliance with all applicable import rules and regulations. · Proactively identify areas of compliance risk. · Maintain general record keeping requirements in compliance with Jabil corporate and applicable Customs import regulations. · Knowledge of international logistics process. · Knowledge of trade compliance / import regulations. · Knowledge and ability to calculate duties. · Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required. · Solid communication skills in English. · Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. · Ability to write and follow complex correspondence. · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions. · Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
