Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Provide advisory support to clients on international trade compliance, including customs classification, valuation, origin, and preferential trade programs. Support CBSA-related activities including audit preparation, verification processes, documentation reviews, and corrective action planning. Utilize and support the CBSA CARM Client Portal for document uploads, compliance tracking, and client assistance. Assist in preparing submissions, regulatory responses, and supporting documentation for post-entry and customs authority requests. Monitor regulatory changes and help implement updates to internal and client-facing trade compliance procedures. Identify opportunities for brokerage process improvements, automation, and system-driven efficiency gains. Support reporting, data validation, and root-cause analysis to reduce compliance exceptions and improve accuracy. Contribute to training materials, documentation, and client guidance related to trade compliance and system usage. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are properly embedded into operational workflows. Manage client billing activities related to consulting and compliance project work. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field preferred. CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation required. Experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or international logistics operations. Working knowledge of CBSA regulations and the CARM Client Portal. Experience supporting audits, verifications, and regulatory documentation processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
