Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Experience in Trade Compliance, Experience in Supply Chain industry, Experience as customs agent/officer, Experience as compliance specialist, Experience as customs operations
Nice to Have
Licensed Customs Broker, Customs Compliance Specialist certification, Experience with partner government agency requirements, Familiarity with free trade agreement administration, Familiarity with rules of origin analysis, Experience with denied party screening tools, Experience with trade compliance software
What You'll Do.
Classify products under tariff schedules
Monitor and interpret trade regulations
Assess and communicate operational impact
Maintain working knowledge of PGA requirements
certifications are obtained
Support administration of free trade agreements
Conduct rules of origin analyses
Manage certificates of origin
Identify duty savings opportunities
Screen transactions against restricted parties
Escalate potential violations
Review and audit entry filings
Review and audit customs documentation
Review and audit valuation determinations
Review and audit country-of-origin determinations
Collaborate to resolve compliance holds
Collaborate to resolve discrepancies
Collaborate to resolve regulatory inquiries
Build and maintain standard operating procedures
Develop compliance training materials
Manage and communicate exam statuses
Manage and communicate inspection statuses
Manage and communicate hold statuses
