What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A minimum of 3 years Securities, Derivatives and/or Structured Notes Middle Office experience., Degree level education, Knowledge of trade support, settlements, and reconciliation experience within Operations., Solid knowledge of Capital Markets Products and ISDA definitions., Be able to deal with Front Office demands., Be able to work well under pressure and with high volumes., attention to detail.
Nice to Have
knowledge in Murex / Sophis is an advantage., Can show relevant training / exams in industry led courses in securities / derivatives / structured notes.
What You'll Do.
Provide Trading and Sales Support services to APAC Businesses in line with the operations procedures and bank standing orders.
Provide operational support to Sales and Trading on multi asset classes.
Validate trades captured by the Front Office systems have the necessary data quality and completeness required for downstream processing
perform trade enrichment if requires along with necessary authorization.
Validate trades against confirmations / details received from FO or clients to ensure booking align.
Trade Lifecycle Management: including but not limited to: coupon fixing
Troubleshoot trade booking issues / trade flow issues.
Monitor and follow up on settlement issues on all fronts and escalate to FO for awareness accordingly.
Perform reconciliations as necessary.
Facilitate new broker/client account opening for Sales and Trading.
Ensure all daily tasks/controls are completed in line with department procedures manual.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as an intermediary between clients and FO personnel, as well as further liaison with BCS, Finance, Compliance, and Technology functions.; Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive and high-performing team
Communication Scope
Be able to deal with Front Office demands.
