1–2 years of experience in railroad maintenance or rail equipment operation, Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Ability to travel and work in remote locations as required, Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials (up to ~50 lbs), Ability to climb on and off rail equipment safely, Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
Knowledge of railway safety standards and protocols (FRA, AREMA preferred), CDL preferred, Equipment certification required when applicable

Perform basic maintenance
