What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years of experience operating heavy equipment, Ability to operate backhoes, loaders, and similar machinery, Ability to travel and work out of town for extended periods, attention to detail and safety awareness, communication and teamwork skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, Ability to read basic instructions and job site documentation, Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment, FRA certification required when applicable
Nice to Have
Experience with rail construction equipment is a plus, Knowledge of laser/machine control and blueprint reading is a plus, CDL is a plus
