# **Job Description** **1\. Job Overview** Rebuild and repair production equipment, rebuild tooling, to improve their running condition, along with working on molds and dies that are running in machines in the production area. **2\. Job Dimensions** Direct Reports: None Geographical scope: OKOK Plant Decision-Making Authority: None Functional dimensions: Maintenance Department, OKOK Oklahoma City Plant **3\. Accountabilities** **3.1 Key Functions** * Repair and rebuild Production machinery including molds and dies. * Make components and changes to existing components in a timely manner and correct them to an engineered drawing. * Assist the Group Leaders and Lead people in planning work in the shop and sending work to outside vendors. * Keep the machines running as efficiently as possible while they are running in production. * Perform mold cleaning with repairs that are needed. * Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools. * Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. * Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes. * Operate metal or plastic forming and grinding equipment. * Assist other departments where your skills are needed. **3.2 Responsibilities** * Document machined parts with an inspection sheet. * Keep the Tool Room area in a clean and orderly manner. * Record in the JDE PEM for PM’s and or Lotus Notes work order system any maintenance that is completed on every mold. * Inform the Scheduling Department wh
