What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement., 5 or more years of experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Tool Engineering., 5 or more years of experience using CAD/CAM software., 5 or more years of experience with classical structural analysis/methodology., 5 or more years of experience with finite element analysis/methodology (PATRAN/NASTRAN, ABAQUS, RISA).
Nice to Have
9 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience., Experience complying with industry standards, including electrical and safety codes., Boeing Tooling Engineering Stress Approver (TESA) Certification., 9 or more years of experience in classical and finite element structural analysis.
What You'll Do.
Validate analysis of technical data
Influence product engineering design
automation or technical recommendations
Develop and validate program and project requirements
Develop highly complex equipment and tooling concepts
including alternatives
Execute project plans
Provide input to Makeuy decisions
Partner with Procurement
Ensure compliance with safety
ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Develop plans for production readiness
preventative maintenance and spares.
Validate contractual performance milestones.
Develop and implement work-arounds
Maintain configuration of hardware
software and documentation.
Conduct studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.
