Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, US Citizenship required, Interim and/or final U. Must Have

1+ years experience as a Quality Inspector, 3+ years of experience working in a tool fabrication environment, manufacturing, or fabrication environment., 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e. g. , blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design), 3+ years of experience using computer aided measuring systems (CAMS)., 3+ years of experience operating Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM)., Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ETC), High school graduate/GED

Nice to Have

Technical trade school certificate/degree (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion), 5+ years of experience as an operator of Computer Aided Measurement Systems, Coordinate Measurement Machines, Laser Tracker, Laser Scanners, etc., 5+ years of experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators

Perform proof load tests and inspections on shop hoist

Decertify defective hoist tools

Perform receiving inspection to ensure purchased parts conform to specified purchase requirements

Tooling Mechanic-Quality Inspector **Company:** **Boeing Test and Evaluation (BTE)** is seeking a Tooling Mechanic-Quality Inspector to support the Quality Team in Berkeley, MO! **_Position Responsibilities:_** * **Perform inspection and/or process monitoring of tool fabrication processes, to ensure tools are built per the applicable drawing, specifications and procedures** * **Perform periodic tooling inspection using both physical and digital definition and interpret data for acceptance of tooling compliance** * **Utilize and/or interpret 3D measurement and analysis systems and software; such as Laser Trackers** * **Identify, investigate, and document nonconformance of materials, hardware, tools, tool assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, processes and procedures utilizing appropriate computing applications** * **Ensure all parts/assemblies have been assembled per the tool drawing, specification and fabrication order** * **Verify record and re-inspect removals/reinstallations /rework of tooling components, as required** * **Maintain FOD requirements by participating in FOD walks, conducting monthly FOD surveillances, documenting FOD nonconformances** * **Perform proof load tests and inspections on shop hoist tools; Decertify defective hoist tools** * **Perform receiving inspection to ensure purchased parts conform to specified purchase requirements** This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
