Standing for approximately 8-12 hours, Regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion, Frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment, Risk of exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 5 years experience setting up and operating a wire EDM machine, Minimum of 5 years experience in programming with CAM software, Minimum of 5 years of experience with precision workpiece setups, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Esprit, Familiarity with Wire EDM machine maintenance procedures, Familiarity with CAM software, specifically Esprit and AutoCAD, Ability to program from both 2D and 3D drawings, Knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
What You'll Do.
and operate 4-axis wire EDM machines to produce precision components used in the construction of progressive stamping dies
Manufacture steel components to specifications provided by Toolmakers and Designers
Perform secondary processes and finish work using conventional shop equipment to support production needs and ensure dimensional accuracy
Performs daily machine maintenance duties
