What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, 2+ years of verifiable tool and die experience, Intermediate level of machining and metal working experience, Ability to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions, Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, Ability to obtain a hi-lo license
Nice to Have
Journeyman or completed apprenticeship, Mastercam and Solidworks experience, Mechanical and shop math aptitude

Challenge is #QualityDriven and #PeoplePowered! Who We Want: Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs dies, die components, and tooling used in the production process. Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, and sets up and operations machine tools to make and repair dies. What You'll Do: Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts. Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations. Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining. Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications. Lifts machined parts and positions and secures parts on surface plate or worktable. Smooths flat and contoured surfaces using power grinders and fits an
