Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the classroom for the majority of the workday, Flexibility to work a full-time 8-hour shift within the center's operating hours

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification, High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of one year of experience working with toddlers in a childcare center, daycare, preschool, or private school setting, Knowledge of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices, Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the classroom

Nice to Have

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

What You'll Do.

Lead a toddler classroom

Plan and implement engaging lesson plans

Foster children's social-emotional growth

Support daily classroom routines

Use positive behavior guidance strategies

and communicate children's progress

Build partnerships with families

Ensure compliance with EEC regulations

Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and center leadership; Participate in staff meetings

Communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators; Daily communication with families
