MR licence or above, Current white card or equivalent

If you completed traffic management after March 1, 2024, the course/skillset on your Statement of Attainment (SOA) should be TMI1 – RIISS00060 – Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads. (Valid), If you completed traffic management prior to March 1, 2024, a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS302E Implement Traffic Management Plan or an equivalent is required. (Valid)

# **Primary Location** VIC - Dandenong # **Job Description Summary** Exciting opportunity for Experienced Traffic Controllers / TMA Drivers to join our Utilities division in Melbourne # **About the Role** Due to internal growth, Service Stream are looking for enthusiastic & motivated Traffic Controllers and TMA Drivers. Working from various depots around Melbourne, you will be joining a friendly, hands-on Network Maintenance team, performing traffic management duties across Melbourne for internal work crews on various client contracts. Join our team while we are still small for great opportunities to grow your traffic management career as we look to bring traffic management services in-house. **Nature of position:** Casual **Location:** Melbourne, VIC **Reporting Line: ** Traffic Operations Manager **About You** The position will involve traffic management and site duties. Traffic Management skills are essential. **Duties include but not limited to:** * Using stop/slow sign to control traffic * Vehicle pre-checks * Hazard assessments * Report any site hazards * Monitor the flow of traffic to ensure a safe environment * Supervise and assist Traffic Controllers **Essential Qualifications Traffic Controller:** * Current driver’s license * Traffic Management tickets (RIIWHS205 & RIIWHS302) * Previous Traffic Management experience * White Card * TC1 RIISS00058 * TC2 RIISS00059 * TMI1 RIISS00060 * TMI2 RIISS00061 * TMI3 RIISS00062 **Pre-Requisites for obtaining a TMA** * A current and valid heavy vehicle licence of a suitable class to operate the TMA i.e. MR licence or above. * A current white card or equivalent. * If you completed traffic management after March 1, 2024, the course/skillset on your Statement of Attainment (SOA) should be TMI1 – RIISS00060 – Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads.
