We are looking for a Electrical Engineering Retrofits & Strategy Manager to lead a team of TIPM Electrical Engineers within our Global Electrical Engineering organization. This role owns the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of complex electrical distribution retrofit programs and electrical construction quality mechanisms across Amazon's logistic network. The ideal candidate combines deep technical fluency in electrical power systems with demonstrated people management experience, a track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure programs, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels. This role requires up to 30% travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided. Key job responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: You will manage, mentor, and grow a team of TIPM Electrical Engineers responsible for delivering electrical infrastructure programs at scale. This includes setting team goals aligned to organizational priorities, developing individual growth plans, and building a high-performance culture grounded in operational excellence and customer obsession. Electrical Distribution Retrofits: You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of retrofit programs that upgrade low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems at existing facilities across North America. This includes developing design standards, managing third-party engineering and construction partners, overseeing commissioning and acceptance testing, and driving schedule and budget accountability across a portfolio of concurrent projects.
