What You'll Do.

Assists Machine Tender and Back Tender on the setup

Attach appropriate labels and tags to products.

Package finished goods as required for storage or shipment.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed regulations.

Come grow with us! **Responsibilities****:** Third Hand assists Machine Tender and Back Tender on the setup, operation and cleanup of product manufactured on the #1 and #2 machines. Individuals will be responsible for Safety (Personal, Housekeeping and Environmental), Quality (through compliance to ISO procedures and company masters) and Productivity (process and product improvement) as it applies to the Third Hand position. * Track product production on production schedule. * Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shift Supervisor on duty. * Attach appropriate labels and tags to products. * Package finished goods as required for storage or shipment. * Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed regulations. * Must be knowledgeable in the effective use of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and concepts to assist in process improvements, both within Alkegen, and externally at our customers/suppliers.
